The obstacles will be described in the order that they appear on OCR WARRIOR and OCR SM Short Course.
For OCR Champion it all will be in the opposite direction. From the start the athletes will go left and follow the designated
course there. The name will come above the description and video below. Obstacle will appear as follows:
1. Shieldwall.
– Climb over the incline wall.
2. Odins pass
– Jump/leap over the green hedges
3. Thors Shield Flip
– Flip the tires to the other side of the other red line.
– (USM flips the small tires 2 times. one forward and one back again.)
4. Sternum Checker
-The athlete must somehow go over the ”log” without using the constructionparts.
-Use the LOG ONLY. (video is with one tire but you will do the obstacle without tire).
5. Call of the mountain
-Use the ramps to climb over the container
6. Jǫrmungandr – One try only
-Slither through the obstacle using the logs like the snake Jǫrmungandr.
-Go over the first log under the second etc.
-Athlete must not touch ground between the first and the last log.
7. Battleborg rope climb
– Climb the rope and touch the top beam
8. Bifrost bridge climb – One try only
– Climb through the monkeybars using arms only. You may use the footsteps to get up to the bars.
– Athletes can not touch ground between yellow/black tape when fully commited (both feet of ground).
9. Odin’s Gauntlet – One try only
– Use the designated equipment to climb through.
– The net that holds the beam is okay to use.
– Dont touch ground between the yellow/black tape.
10. Asgardian rings – One try only
– Start and finish on the platforms.
– Pass the obstacle using the rings only. You are not allowed to use the construcion or the chains.
– No touching the ground between yellow/black tape
11. Under/Over
– Athletes go under the beams and over the walls
12. Yggdrasil
– Climb over the net
13. Thors thunderstorm – One try only
– Ascend the platform using the monkeybar and rope. (hands only on monkeybar)
– Descend the platform using the green stair.
– Ahtletes must not touch ground between the yellow/black tape.
– Athletes cannot use the planks under the platform side.
14. Valhalla vortex – One try only
Use the designated climbingholds on the walls only. NO feet in the ”window” in the wall or hands on top of wall.
Parts that are okay will have green color and parts that are not okay will have red on race day.
– There is a foothold at begining and ending of the T-beam that can be used.
– Athlete may use the supporting beam that connects to the T-beam to climb up to the T-beam.
– HANDS ONLY on the T-beam.
– Dont touch ground between yellow/black tape.
15. Berserker’s Barrier
– Climb over the obstacle using the wooden beams
16. Log pile
– Climb over the pile of logs
17. Runestone
– Climb over the wall
17. Shield carry start
– Pick up a shield (tire) and carry it until you get to Shield carry end.
18. Log pile
– Climb over the pile of logs
19. Shield carry end
– Drop the tire in the pile where you once picked it up.
20. Asgardian descent/ascent
– Go down/up the hill
21. Loki´s trap
– Get through the ”webbed” tunnel
22. Longship leap
– Jump over the box
– Athletes may use the step (on one of the sides)
23. Valkyrie’s Ascent
– CLIMB OVER THE VALKYRIAN RAMP
– ITS OKAY TO USE THE ROPES EITHER GOING UP/DOWN THE RAMP PART.
24. Berserker Pit
– Crawl through the berseker pit
25. Hel´s stairway climb – One try only
– Start and finish the obstacle with two hands on the first and last beam.
– Athlete can enter the obstacle to start the climb but not cross the yellow/black tape (green lines).
– No touching the ground when athlete fully commited to the obstacle (both feet in the air).
– Athlete must touch the bar in the top before descending and climb only using arms (no feet allowed).
26. Fenrir multirig – One try only
Low 2 high multirig:
– No touching the ground between the yellow/black tape.
– Climb through the obstacle using only the climbingholds. No construction part or chain can be used.
– Go up and down the net.
Note: Skulls will be changed to rings if it rains.
Penalty start/end (P)
– Sandbag must be carried througout each lap and through each obstacle.
– Sandbag must not be thrown in front of athlete or dropped in a obstacle.
– All obstacles are mandatory and use as many attempts you need. Any failed
obstacle needs to be redone from the start of the obstacle.
– Get one band per finished lap until 3 bands are obtained.
27. Thors pass
– Jump/leap over the hedges.
